and thanks for taking an interest in sharing your story, thoughts, or
even findings with our readers; our readers are interested in all
Clumber news and views, show and other event reports, but
particularly in "pet" stories and field stories - be they
stories from a newcomer to the breed, a confirmed Clumber owner (or would-be
owner), or a "die hard" Clumber lover!

Material can be e-mailed, please note the picture file requirements,
As I cannot be sure how pictures will be used until the article is
cast on the page, I need to receive the best quality picture
possible. Also, I wish to retain the option of using a colour print
for the magazine as well as on the website. So the following criteria
has been developed:
SCANNED ILLUSTRATIONS
-
scan in colour (millions of color)
- scan at 150dpi
- scan in RGB (I can convert to CMYK if necessary)
- scan 6x4 inch standard prints at 100%; larger
prints can be scanned at a percentage less than 100%
- don't fiddle around too much with files before
uploading them, but you are welcome to crop out excess from the
borders to reduce file size and so make uploading faster

DIGITAL CAMERAS

most digital cameras work in 72dpi, which isn't sufficent for paper
reproduction, however, I can spruce up the dpi, so send the picture unaltered.
- ensure the item/dog to to feature is FULL frame,
avoid clutter and landscapes as I cannot get picture upto full page
size if needed
- provided the image size is in the order of 768 x
576 pixels send it at 100% size
