Clumber Spaniels are rather scarce throughout the world. Why? From the buyers' point of view the breed is often shunned because of its white coat and perceived concepts of keeping that coat clean. From an owner and would be breeders' point of view, sutiable matescan be hard to locate, puppy sales are not guaranteed, and while the breed is not a high demand breed it does require sensible and basic nurture and raising.
