Thirty games where dogs are welcome & dogs actually join in with the fun
by JAN IRVING

published by ERINRAC ENTERPRISES available through https://www.createspace.com/3628633 and Amazon.com

Thirty games are provided and most are supplemented with variations allowing hundreds of games to be actually developed from this book. The games are for all age handlers, and all dogs. Some commonsense will be required to sort the athletic from the toddlers, but in many games such a division isnt even necessary.

Partners stand in a circle with their backs away from the centre

All place their leads into the middle of the circle, into a heap. Those dogs with check leads which cant leave a correction collar or collar on should only be included in the game if they can be safely held in some fashion or a collar borrowed.

Partners turn to face the centre and sit down

One partnership is chosen at random to start – the tag

The tag chooses a lead at random (not their own lead) and makes a suggested match to another partnership if an incorrect guess is made the tag passes on around the circle.

Each tag chooses a lead and makes a guess until a lead is correctly matched when the partnership will declare the correct match, e.g. bingo

the winner is the person who correctly matches the chosen lead to a partnership

Variations:
can include several teams forming circles
unclaimed leads returned to centre
an extra or decoy lead can be entered into the heap
