ERINVEINE CLUMBER SPANIELS   est 1958

pronounced 'erin-veen';     Erinveine is an ancient spelling of the surname Irving Erinveine was first registered as a dog prefix in 1946 by David V.H. Irving for Irish Setters, Clumbers joined the kennels in 1958. After David's sudden death in 1984, his wife consented to his daughters taking over the Clumbers, and since then they have basically been in the care of younger daughter Jan Irving. Jan has taken the time and energy to study and publish information on the breed. She is the author of     - Clumber Spaniels published by dog experts Hoflin Publishing USA     - The White Spaniel declared one of the best ten dog breed books of all times by Nick Waters in Dog World Annual 2008 and editor and publisher of     - Clumbers the breed's only dedicated non-club magazine     - and our DVD/videos!
