LINCOLN WOOL
washed and carded
so very easy to spin in this form. Lincoln
wool makes an excellent yarn for weaving particularly for hard
wearing garments. Its length of fibre allows you to spin ever so fine
a thread. Very limited stocks left of this, and it can be a bit hard
to pull away from the sliver |
$11.00/kg |

LINCOLN WOOL
natural, unwashed, and now only available
in the six month growing length of 5 to 7 inches |
$5.50/kg |
|
MOHAIR
natural
spun it makes an absolutely superb yarn
suitable for knitting, crocheting, weaving, etc. Not recommended for
beginners due to the high lustre factor, making it slippery to handle
as you spin. This top quality classical mohair has a lovely cold
touch but is excellent at keeping the warmth in and is so light for
its bulk. Staple length 5 to 6 inches. |
$16.50/kg |
|
CASHGORA
natural, this product is highly acclaimed
by craft workers as it has the lightness of handle and length of
fibre as with mohair, but also the softness of handle and warmth to
touch of cashmere. |
$16.50/kg |

MERRYWOOD 20s available only for orders of
2 kg or multiples of 2kg, this is a washed and carded line of
cashgora/cashmere blend from our flock. It is just so easy to spin,
or even use straight from the sliver to knit, crochet or even weave!
The fibre is treated under contract interstate, and contains very
little guard hair or medullated fibre contamination.

fibre usually a white product results; very limited supplies) or Moon
