the PERMANENT ANIMAL IDENTIFICATION RECORD SYSTEM

In 1997 Erinrac Enterprises launched PAIRS so there was a central registry for animals with permant identification, such as tattoos and microchips. Over the years, as larger more commerical concerns have evolved from the microchipping industry, we have reviewed our operation and now it is essentially restricted to providing a public record of breeding and identification for goats. PAIRS does not act as a breed registry, but does provide, particularly those breeds without an active and public registry, a portal to pubically record their stock and the parentage, etc.

There is only a limited demand for PAIRS, but as numbers grow, the database will be moved to an online publically searchable database, with an annual membership fee allowing the subcriber to record/transfer as many of their goats as they like for an annual nominal fee. Once this feature is operational, there will be a link from here.

PAIRS is the choice for owners of Australian Heritage Angora Goats!

For the time being, applications and transfers are processed manually through the office with a certificate being issued 

• the fees being (at 1-1-2009) (including GST)

  • $20 per annum  for access to maintain your own records
