Congratulations to Corinne O’Connell and Edward Rogers on producing a DVD covering the basics of Junior Handlers! Filmed at the old dog section of the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds the film covers a class of Junior Handlers being judged by local identity Glenyse Acreman who gives a running commentarty as she puts the children through their paces. The bulk of the video is made up of interviews with current successful handlers and some parents, as well as a substantial interview with Ms Acreman.
The production isn’t flash but it is very viewable and very nicely indexed into chapters for easy reference.

Brilliant for any Victorian or Australia family thinking about introducing their children to this junior sport, a sport noted for giving the kids confidence, time management skills, perhaps dog grooming, and I trust a rapport with man’s best friend. =
