review: If I ran the Dog Show by Tish Rabe ill by Aristides Ruiz and Joe Mathieu (Seuss)

This is fabulous: there is a LOT of good information about dogs and terminology. The illustrations are vibrant, clear to understand, and just make a good book really lush.

The forty or so pages are briskly paced, entertaining, and even enlightening … this is now on my recommended for young readers list!

It is part of The Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library and aimed at folks 5 to 8 years (kindergarten to year 3).

There are MANY dog breeds illustrated, and the ditties/rhymes are sparkling and charming. I adore the puzzle of the dog.
