Francis Wheatley’s famous painting of the second Duke of Newcastle under Lyne with his friend Colonel Litchfield and head gamekeeper William Mansell and under keeper Day is now readily available for all as an on-demand colour reproduction – even in oil paint finish.

The Wheatley painting is the first to feature the white spaniels at their naming rights home of Clumber Park. The painting (now in the care of Sheffield Galleries and Museums Trust) features four Clumbers and two Pointers, set against the backdrop of Clumber bridge, as part of a successful hunting party, and is dated 1788.
